On my second full day in Florence I spent the afternoon hiking up to the Piazzale Michelangelo in San Niccolò. I explored a historic church and captured some amazing photos of the city. A pre-Labor Day weekend trip brought me back to Lake George. With gorgeous sunny weather, we were able to visit a popular seasonal restaurant right on the water called The Shoreline Restaurant.
Eating lakeside with a view of the water from the deck makes this a perfect Lake George restaurant for lunch or dinner!
The beautiful Friday weather of Memorial Day weekend inspired me to jump on a train to New York City. My destination of the MoMA had me detour for brunch at Le Pain Quotidien, where I had a delicious, organic treat!
A weeknight trip to Bolton Landing, NY for dinner took Jamie and I on a dinner adventure. We ended up at the Lakeside Lodge and Grille, a local hangout with amazing food.
The Fort William Henry Hotel has two restauraunts to visit during the winter. The Tankard Taverne is one of those spots: half bar, half dining room. The view of the lake and outdoor patio with firepit is something you don't want to miss.
